SALUTE TO THE ARMED FORCES INFORMATION PAGE

AGE(S): 11U, 12U, 13U, and 14U

DESCRIPTION: Compete for a bid to the USABL World Series..  SuperEast Baseball  Tournaments presents the Salute to the Armed Forces Tournament.   13u and 14u games are played at high quality fields throughout the greater Hartford, CT area.  11u-12u games are played at Pratt & Whitney 5-Plex and other high quality fields.  Don’t wait to register as the last 5 years have sold out early!   This tournament is always one of the most competitive and exciting tournaments on the calendar!

DATES:   Depending on number of teams registered, pool play may start on Friday May 17, 2024 with championship day on Sunday May 19, 2024.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Each team must be prepared to play on Friday night.  Each team will play 2 games in pool play.  All teams will compete in single elimination to a champion.

ARRIVAL:

-Teams must be prepared to play on the first day (Friday) of schedule start date.

-Coaches are required to check-in their team 60 minutes prior to their first game.

GAME MINIMUM(weather permitting): 11, 12u, 13, & 14u - 3 game minimums.

PER TEAM FEE: 10u, 11u, 12u, $749.00 13u, 14u = $849.00

-The FULL tournament fee is due at time of registration.

-No team will be added to the schedule until paid in full.

FIELDS SIZE:

-10U - 12U = 50’/70’

-13U - 14U = 60’/90’

GATE FEES:  - NO GATE FEES

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any team that cancels 10 days prior to the first pitch of the tournament will forfeit the full tournament entry fee.

EQUIPMENT: Baseballs, Umpires, and Awards are Included

AWARDS:

-First place and Second place teams in each division will receive a team award. 

WEATHER UPDATES: All weather updates will be posted on the tourney machine app for this event as well as on the “WEATHER” section of the www.supereastbaseball.com website.

STANDINGS/SCORES: All scores and standing will be posted on the tourney machine app for this event.

TOURNAMENT REFUND POLICY: 

-Cancellation of tournament by Super East Baseball = Full Refund

-Team cancellation within 10 days of start of tournament - No Refund

-There will be a $200 per team administrative charge for complete rain outs.

-1 Game played due to weather = 50% of entry fee (Credit will be issued for 50%)

-2 games played = no refund
